Description
A jaw coupler and center spider are used to mount the shaft of a motor or engine to a pump. The jaw coupler connects the shafts together, while the center spider fills the gap between the shafts. The coupler is fitted or keyed to the shafts of both the pump and the motor, allowing the movement of the prime mover or hydraulic motor to transfer to the pump. A mounting bracket is used to keep the motor or engine and the pump attached to one another. The bracket is mounted to both the pump and the engine or motor, hence the name "mounting bracket".
